Frascati is only a 30 min train ride from Roma Termini, 4,20€ round trip with trains running pretty much every hour. Known as la Città del Vino, Frascati is the wine country of the Lazio region. They mostly produce fresh easy drinking whites under the Frascati DOC denomination. Tours of local producers are available with reservations.
