From Paris to Rome in 14 days

This adventure started in Paris where I arrived a few days prior to the beginning of the tour. Once I met with the rest of the group, we traveled by bus to Beaune in the Dijon region, we then crossed the border to Switzerland where we visited the Lauterbrunnen Valley nested in the Swiss Alps. It's ben said that this valley with it's many waterfalls inspired JRR Tolkien, for his description of Rivendale Valley in the Lord of the Rings. From the Swiss Alps we crossed the border to Germany where we settled in Munich, and I had the opportunity to visit an old friend. After leaving Germany we crossed the Austrian border into Italy, were almost immediately my fascination with the country started.
